| I
feel as if I could keep painting Falmouth forever, and this
collection has been a wonderful opportunity to experience anew
the vibrancy of Falmouth Harbour in all its guises, come rain
or shine. What fascinates me is the unpeeling of things and
the search for the minimum that needs to be said to describe
the landscape that inspires me and compels me. Increasingly,
I am driven to portray my own home ground, and in particular
Falmouth's extraordinarily rich and diverse harbour which I
find myself returning to again and again. |
