often walk along Penzance promenade, past the pebble filled
beach at Wherrytown and on to Newlyn where my studio sits
behind the harbour. From the studio I can see out, over
the old harbour all the way across the water to Lizard
Point. I can walk from my house in Penzance to St Michael's
Mount along the cycle path, or on the beach when the tide
is low. It is this stretch of coast that inspired these
paintings. |
