Over
the past 20 years I have explored many truly beautiful parts
of Cornwall and as a painter I have been privileged to spend
time getting to know them intimately. I hope that this intimacy
with my landscape gives the paintings a strength that can
only come with time.
Throughout
this time I have been drawn back to particular places again
and again for different reasons. Some places have connections
to my family life - where we might often go for walks or
days out, some places because of the memories that they
hold and some places because I know that they make for a
fantastic painting.
