Originally
from Birmingham, John Howard moved to the Westcountry in 1995.
Building on his already enviable reputation as an artist inspired
by industry and architecture, John's geographical relocation
allowed him to develop his interest in discovering unusual and
different perspectives on the natural environment. His particular
expertise is in exploiting the qualities of light and experimenting
with form and structure, both natural and man-made. John is
a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) and
of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA). He is rightly
admired for his highly skilled etchings and drypoints that evoke
the drama and atmosphere of the Cornish landscape.
