Aisleigh is a Cornwall-based artist whose work is an intuitive response to the landscape. Through expressive mark-making and mixed media, she captures not just a place but its essence, a fleeting moment, a feeling. Growing up in South Devon, she was always drawn to the outdoors. She immerses herself in the landscape before developing her work further in the studio. Allowing each piece to evolve organically, she builds depth through instinctive layering and deliberate colour choices that evoke emotion and mood.
A lifelong creative, Aisleigh’s previous career as a master chocolatier instilled in her a love for working hands-on with an exploratory approach. Rooted in her love for the natural world, her work is a tribute to the landscapes that inspire her, offering the viewer a moment of pause and connection.
