EOT Ceramics is the studio practice of Cornwall based potter Emily Olivia Tapp. Based in her converted cattle barn studio on the outskirts of Falmouth, Emily makes wheel-thrown stoneware ceramics inspired by the Cornish coast.
Graduating with a degree in Fine Art from Falmouth University in 2018, Emily was awarded a residency at CAST in Helston and spent a year developing her practice there. It was then that her work shifted from 2-dimensional painting to hand-built, slip-cast and finally wheel-thrown ceramics. After moving to her shipping container studio in Penryn in the Summer of 2019, she started to focus on functional ceramics and began making work for local cafes, shops and galleries.
Emily has been working from her current studio at Argal Home Farm in Falmouth since April 2022, where she makes and fires all of her work, hosts monthly studio sales and also teaches wheel-throwing lessons.
