Holly Sproul explores raw and natural materials foraged during her walks in Cornwall, inspired by the landscape’s textures, colour palette, and geology. She views herself as a vehicle for transforming the essence of the landscape into a new form, connecting to primitive practices, ancestral knowledge, and the land. The collection “From the Earth” combines earth pigments with ceramics, exploring wild clays, different firing techniques, and vessels, each piece charged with the history and geology of its pigments.
