Traditional figurative artist, Wimperis, paints plein air in oils or watercolour.  Gathering painting inspiration from travel and visiting new places, complex interiors, markets, gardens heavily feature in Wimperis’ work.

Born into a family with artistic roots that began on the Lizard, Cornwall in 1650 and stretched as far as New Zealand, Wimperis studied Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art and graduated with a degree in sculpture. She has since exhibited with several galleries and illustrated for the BBC and the National Trust.
