North Coast

Exposure to westerly storms and pounding surf has given rise to the famously dramatic scenery of Cornwall's north coast, a landscape carved and sculpted by the sea, and made all the more exciting by the numerous tales of smuggling and wrecking that abound in her coves and caves. Walking the miles of coastal path between Portreath and Padstow, and then again from Godrevy to Gwithian, this landscapes exhibits steep cliffs and endless granite steps, definitely not for the faint hearted, exploring the North Coast is a richly rewarding experience. Not only does this coastline offer incredibly natural beauty but is home to wonderfully historic places such as St.Agnes, Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac.
