‘Each Talisman Bangle is inspired by the names of rare species of plants and animals which are endangered and/or extinct due to mis-informed farming practises encouraged by the government post Second World War. I wanted to create a contemporary jewellery collection which calls to mind the names of those diminishing lives as a way of remembering them and holding them in our consciousness.
