PERUVIAN BLUE OPAL SET IN 9CT GOLD RING.

Set in recycled 9ct gold with a hammered ring shank, this lovely Peruvian Blue Opal has black dentritic inclusions. These beautiful seaweed like forms make this high grade Peruvian Blue Opal a stunning example of the rare national stone of Peru. The colours are often likened to the Caribbean sea but I think the Cornwall coast has some features which would compete!

Peruvian Blue Opals are only found in the Andes in Peru and are therefore quite rare. I have chosen stones with dendritic inclusions in them which look to me like seaweed in rock pools in summer. This ring will give you so much pleasure as a reminder of warm days and long sunny afternoons messing about at the beach.

The contemporary gold ring shank is lightly textured for an organic look.
