Richard Tuff’s Cornwall

“For this collection I have enjoyed the freedom to paint many of my favourite places without the constraint of a ‘theme’. I often try to concentrate on a particular subject of interest or limit my colour palette as a focus for an exhibition, but for this show I have given myself the luxury of just painting at will. This has partly come about as I have found myself visiting favourite places this year with our new rescue dog Fern. Lots of old walks to rediscover and some new ones along the way too. I often think there are not many corners of Cornwall that I haven’t visited, but even after all these years there are still some surprises and even with places I know so well, when you look closely there is always something new to discover. That’s the beauty of living here, an endless source of inspiration. I hope you enjoy viewing this eclectic mix of work as much as I have enjoyed putting it together.”
